Lecture on Peer Review in Scientific Funding & Publishing
For Leibniz-Postocs only:
A lecture on Peer Review in Scientific Funding and Publishing, set to take place via Zoom on November 7th, 11am – 1pm.
The lecture will focus on the history and logic of peer review from the point of view of funding bodies. The lecture will be followed by a discussion, so we encourage everyone to bring in your questions about the process of peer review, how science benefits from peer reviews, potential drawbacks of peer review, etc..
Our expert will be Dr. Oliver Grewe. He currently works at the Volkswagen Foundation as a scientific officer. His expertise lies in science management and peer review, but also focusses on career development and leadership skills in academia.
Everyone who is a postdoc at a Leibniz Institute and interested in the event, is welcome to join. No registration needed.
