Sustainability

On 01.01.2016, the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) entered into force as political objectives of the United Nations. Under the title Agenda 2030, the UN calls for sustainable action on an economic, social and ecological level worldwide.

As a library, we contribute to each of the 17 goals by making information, knowledge and digital infrastructure available to students, researchers and citizens on a long-term, low-threshold and consumption-free basis. As employees of the NTNM Library, we also feel personally committed to the goals of the 2030 Agenda and the principles of Libraries for Future. In our daily work, we are guided by a social, sustainable and resource-saving attitude.
